    Job Brief: The Aftermarket Sales Director is responsible for crafting key growth strategies, developing and managing talent, and creating tactical action plans for a leading global valve manufacturer. Effective implementation of these strategies is crucial for achieving financial targets and developing a high-performing sales team. Responsibilities encompass meeting annual growth targets, mentoring and developing talent, fostering relationships, understanding customer and market trends, and pinpointing growth opportunities. The ideal candidate should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a growth-oriented attitude, and be a self-starter.

    Responsibilities:

    Meet or exceed financial targets set by the business (Bookings/Profits/Shipment Plan)
    Develop talent to create a high-performing sales team
    Develop and execute strategic sales plans for sustainable short- and long-term growth
    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and develop higher-level partnerships
    Communicate the value proposition effectively through proposals and presentations
    Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
    Report on factors that influence tactical budgets and strategic account direction

    Requirements and Skills:

    Proven experience as a sales manager/director, exceeding targets
    Experience in sales restructuring
    Data-driven sales skills with strong analytical abilities
    Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organisational levels, including executive and C-level
    Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
    Ability to articulate the unique aspects of products and services
    Experience in positioning products against competitors
    Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
    Entrepreneurial mindset that motivates and drives team success
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Travel up to 60% including hybrid/home office working
