George Thomas is working in partnership with a growing Waste Disposal company who are currently experiencing a period of extensive expansion.

 

Our client is actively looking for a Sales Rep based out of Austin, TX to further bolster their business development capabilities in the region and build on what was a well-established territory.

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Selling General / Dry Waste collection services to commercial clients.
  • Generate & hunt new business in Austin and surrounding areas.
  • Farm existing accounts ensuring year on year growth.
  • Respond to customer needs concerning product recommendations, application and performance.
  • Analyse territory performance reports and develop strategic sales territory business plans.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the market, customers, competition and developments within a specialized segment in order to leverage sales opportunities.

 

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Must be based in Austin or within a commutable distance to territory, with valid right to work documentation.
  • Over 3 years of sales / account management / business development experience with demonstrated customer service acumen.
  • Experience selling General / Dry Waste Collection services is preferred, but any service sales experience will also be considered.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain long term client relationships.
  • Ability to work and travel within assigned territory 75% of time.
  • Must be an excellent communicator both oral and written in English.
  • Able to understand key business drivers and to have the vision to identify long and short-term market penetration opportunities.
