    George Thomas is in partnership with a global flexible packaging company, actively seeking a

    Senior Account Executive – Flexible Packaging to be based in the Northeast, US.

    This role is essential in nurturing and expanding our flexible packaging business, managing key accounts, and fostering growth that surpasses $15 million through strong client relationships across diverse industries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    – Account Management: Develop a deep understanding of key accounts, overseeing all aspects of customer relationships, focusing on commercial, technical, and service elements.

    – Business Development: Discover and engage with new business opportunities in the flexible packaging sector.

    – Strategic Planning: Design and implement annual sales plans that resonate with market segment strategies and territory goals.

    – Customer Engagement: Effectively communicate the value of our comprehensive product portfolio to executive groups with clarity and impact.

    – Sales Growth: Drive sales by mapping customer applications, identifying decision-makers, building relationships, and initiating projects.

    Qualifications:

    – Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field.

    – Experience: Over 5 years in technical or commercial roles, with expertise in key account management within the packaging market.

    – Financial Acumen: Skilled in creating complex commercial proposals and understanding financial strategies.

    – Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, proactive thinking, and effective problem-solving abilities.

    – Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

    – Travel: Willingness to travel 30 – 50%.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    – Experience in industrial adhesives, flexible packaging, paper converting, tapes, and labels.

    – Proven success in establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

    – Strong business acumen with negotiation skills and expertise in sales forecasting and retention.
